A Reason for Success in Business
Most people start into an MLM (Multi-level Marketing) or other Network Marketing company with huge thoughts of success. So what happens? Things aren’t going as well as planned; people just aren’t interested in the products or services that your company offers; you have talked to just about everyone you know and their tired of hearing about it. Then what? You throw your hands in the air and exclaim “this doesn’t work!” Maybe the person that enrolled you led you to believe that riches were just a mere days away. Maybe you thought the product or service was so phenomenal that people would have to be crazy not to join up with you. Maybe the compensation was so great that you thought everyone would just jump on board and it would avalanche into a fortune. It could be a combination of all of these.
You’ve seen the people in the company that are making huge amounts of money monthly and you wonder how they did it. Were they just lucky? Could they have some secret formula for success? Doubtful. The people that have great success in MLM or Network Marketing started off exactly the way everyone does. Someone enrolled them into a dream; their own dream. Chances are, you had a dream as well when you started down the path of entrepreneurship. What happened to it? Did it fade as you heard the word “no”? The trick is to never lose sight of your dreams. If you are not yet practiced in the art of goal setting, you should probably start now. Humans, in general, tend to buy into the negatives of society. It’s easy to come up with reasons why something doesn’t work. The challenge is to ignore the negative and find some reasons why it WILL work.
Once you have your dream/goal in mind, it’s time to make it so big that it is all that you think about. Make pictures or collages. Create an affirmation that supports the goal that can be repeated (out loud) several times each day. Creative visualization works. Know everything you can about what is that you want. Smell it, taste it, hear it, FEEL it. Having a purpose for success works. Ask any of the leaders what their current goal is and I bet they can tell you in detail about their reason for getting up in the morning. (Daily gratitude for all that you have is very important also. It goes right along with what you want. That’s another article.)
Understand that even with a goal and or reason for success, it still takes commitment on your part. It doesn’t happen by magic, but when you figure out your purpose, and focus on that purpose, things start to line up and you will see the success that you have been looking for. And most of all, HAVE FUN!
